Generic DTC Codes
This list contains standard diagnostic trouble codes (DTC's) that are used by many manufacturers to identify vehicle problems. These codes do not apply to all vehicles. Vehicle manufacturers use manufacturer specific DTC codes that are different from the generic codes shown below.   Foreign vehicles may also use DTC codes different from the generic DTC codes.  It is strongly advised to use Manufacturer Specific DTC code from our lists above.
