NEC uPD78 programmer designed and adopted especially for using in car repairing area. It fully tested on microcontrollers used in real automotive electronic systems.

The NEC uPD78 programmer supports NEC uPD78K0 microcontrollers internal EEPROM reading / programming (writing).

This MCU most used in automotive computers (instruments clusters and BSI modules), and industrial products.

A serial port interface (COM1... COM9) connects the programmer to any desktop or laptop PC running Windows 98/NT/XP.

The uPD78 programmer Windows based software makes programming simple.

uPD78 Programmer Features

• In-circuit interface.
• Built-in mileage calculation features make mileage correction procedure fast and easy.
• Automatic back-up of EEPROM contents in time of reading and programming.
• Software contain illustrated wiring information.
• Automatic Pin Tester features.  In time of In-Circuit connection programmer's hardware automatically test all pins and display warning information if needed.
• A full screen editor is provided to view or edit any address of the programming buffer in binary or ASCII formats
